The inside of the support should not touch the
camera prism while you slide the support on the camera.
Make sure that the inside of the support is
free of white impression powder, so that the lens is not scratched.
In most cases you can lay the camera with the
sliding support on the CEREC
machine. But be cautious if you lay down a support with a
wax impression when using the Anagonist or Correlation programs. In this case it is
recommended that you remove the support before putting back the camera. Then the camera is
secure and the wax impression will not be damaged.
Press the warmed wax or bite
registration paste on the perforated rest base of the Green or Purple
C-Stat and shape it with a wax knife or a scalpel. To prevent the
prism from being smudged, cut away the excess on the inside of the support
being careful not to damage the lens.
The manufacturer or distributor are not
responsible for errors or damage
resulting from incorrect use of the C-STAT support.
