RED C-STAT For Premolar and Molar Use 

The Red C-Stat has a sharpened foot to engage a mesial embrasure. The distal facing foot has been removed to allow greater flexibility of movement.

 The distance between the camera lens and the occlusal surface should be 4-5 mm.

Use the Red C-Stat when there is not a reliable distal rest and a mesial rest can be secured.
